Education

We support Jewish community education for all ages through curriculum development, direct teaching, and partnerships with organizations that disseminate materials and promote learning about Jewish values and our food system.

Work with us

JIFA offers direct education and sponsored learning opportunities for synagogues, Hillels, schools, and conferences and special events. Contact us to discuss a program for your community.

Our Education Partners

Hillel International

JIFA develops curriculum and runs food justice and sustainability programming for Hillel International’s professional development programs and for their student service internship.

Online Learning

Find JIFA curriculum and classes for a wide range of learners through Jewish online learning portals such as Melton, Maven, and more.

Jewish farms

JIFA collaborates with Jewish farms and farmers to create educational signage and programming to help connect people with land, animals, and agricultural tradition.

Faith in Food

Faith in Food is a coalition of interfaith partners empowering religious communities to dialogue, vision, and take action to improve food practices in their respective contexts. JIFA organizes an annual program with Faith in Food partners, CreatureKind and the Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry.
